Jacksonburg, Ohio : ウィキペディア英語版 | Jacksonburg, Ohio
Jacksonburg is a village in Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 63 at the 2010 census. ==History== Jacksonburg was founded on February 16, 1816. Before the Miami and Erie Canal was built, Jacksonburg was the trading center of the region; it had a population of 600 to 700 when Middletown had around 300. The farmers for miles around went to Jacksonburg to buy the staples and clothing they needed. However, the construction of the canal changed the situation entirely, as Middletown possessed unexcelled transportation facilities. In 1827 the canal was opened as far north as Middletown.
